Xtreme: Angelina, I was reading about you and you’re the porn anti-star. Between the Free Speech Coalition and red carpet events that you’ve been hosting, it sounds like you’re busier not fucking than you are fucking.
Angelina: You know, that’s the truth. It’s funny because I had taken a break after my contract with Digital Playground; I decided to focus on everything else but having sex right now, and between that time and really recently, I didn’t do any films but because my name was out there in press releases about [what I was doing outside the business] people thought I was still performing. I still had movies coming out, but they weren’t recent, since Digital Playground puts their movies out later. I have some new movies coming out now though. “Not Monday Night Football XXX” is the biggest, and that came out, as did “Overcome” and “You and Us,” so I’m really excited and happy to everyone’s recognizing my work. I definitely don’t look at it as just an on-screen, have-sex job, and I think if someone wants to make a real impact in the industry, they have to do a lot more. It’s a lot of networking and it’s not all about the sex at all. That’s the easiest part of the job. I only work once or twice a month and I’m good. Everything else is what I’m going to do between those times. You can’t just wait for your next film to come out, so I thought, “Why not get up and do some good in this industry? You’re in it, so you might want to change it a bit.”
Xtreme: Are you a really sexual person?
Angelina: I am very sexual. This is the honest truth, I think porn is very sexually depriving. I feel that I don’t get enough, and sometimes you’re doing films and it’s like, “Man, I wish I could have done more on-screen but I couldn’t,” and then you’re deprived. I’ll go home after being on set all day and still be frustrated, like, I still didn’t get to do everything I wanted to do. I don’t want to give everything away on-screen though. I try to go with the glamour girl and that works for me, and my other side is horror. I love it, I’m into horror films and it works out great.
Xtreme: That’s awesome! I had read that and thought it was awesome. One thing I don’t know, though, is whether you fuck boys and girls or just boys.
Angelina: I am 100% straight. I don’t lie to the industry. I do boys. I have done a girl/girl scene, but I’ve never gone down on a girl. I let them go down on me! Xtreme: You must be so excited that we’re in the middle of Shark Week on the Discovery Channel.
Angelina: If you read my Twitter, it’s all about “Shark week, shark week!” I’ve actually recorded everything and I’m watching every day. I should just get into marine biology. My dream is to swim with a great white. I have no fear about them; I had an encounter with a shark in open water, which I think opened me up to them.
Xtreme: A lot of people probably would have gone the other way there. So while the rest of the world is having Shark Week, Angelina Armani is having Shark Year.
Angelina: Definitely. I’m so excited. I went to Long Beach for Shark Sunday and I took pictures of everything, including the signs that explain facts about sharks. There are like 110 pictures on my MySpace just of the sharks.
